Any Size Circle Scallop Tutorial

This instance I used the 2 1/2" circle punch, 1/2" punch, 3/8" punch (from the Itty Bitty Punch Pack)
First, punch the 3/8", then over that punch the 1/2" punch to create a ring. It took 15 rings.  Then I ran adhesive around the edge on the back, and glued the rings on.

     On a 1 3/4" it took 11 rings

Instructions

I had a very sweet friend tell me that I neglected to put instructions on my projects.  So I went back to a few projects I have done lately and added them or I put the link to where I got them.  After all we are sharing right?  I hope you are inspired by something I do just as I am inspired by all of you!!!  Hugs!!

Hershey Bar Holder

Hershey bar holder with the Love Letter DSP.  I got the ides from Becky Roberts but she didnt have instructions, so I made them myself.

Cut:  3  1/4  x  6  3/8    (need 2)
score:  (1 piece)  3/8  on 3 sides,  1" on the last side
score: (1 piece)  3/8 on 3 sides, 1" only on the two side tabs leaving the middle flat
Cut off the tiny square tabs on each piece
corner punch corners off end of each piece( you have to fold away tabs to get it in the punch)
attach the two tabs together on the bottom with sticky strip first, then attach sides

SU Bigshot Die Tip

You know when its really late and you have been stamping all night and your eyes start blurring together?  Do you find it hard to see your dies?  This is especially annoying when you just want one butterfly not all of them.  You  buy the Avery Full sheet labels #8165.  Cut to size, peel off backing and stick right to the foam. Then run through your Bigshot and peel off stickers where the dies are. Easy!  I would credit the person I got this idea from, but I can't remember who, sorry!  I also wrote the size of the card stock needed for each die on the sticker paper.  I have used them several times and found it held up really well.

Love Letter Tissue Cover Tutorial

Cut 1:  6  ½    x  6  ½   then, score:  1”  all 4sides  : Cut 2:  5  x  10, then, score : 4  ½  x   9  1/16 :   Cut 1:   6  5/8  x  6  5/8  then, score:  1” all 4 sides (this is the lid).

Cut and score all four main pieces. Cut slits on the  lid and bottom tabs.
Layer both layers on the lid before cutting the hole out with the SU circle cutter.  I used the scallop circles #2 die, using the larger one , then I used the 2 1/2" circle punch to make the ring. I cut a second one to finish the inside, optional.

Then assemble the Bottom of the box.  Next attach one of the side pieces, starting with the center...
Then adding the second one the same way.
Just attach the sides tucking in the tabs.
Add the layers, I distressed the edges of everything
 I used the Fun Flowers
The end!!  I hope this was clear, if you have any questions, just message me.

This tissue holder is so cute.  I originally saw this on You tube, thanks, Stamp with Stephanie. Tutorial here.
  •  Chocolate Chip CS#102128
  • Baja Breeze CS#111352
  • Gala Greenhouse DSP#117167
  • 2" x1 3/8" Oval Punch #119859
  • Decorative Label Punch#120907
  • Modern Label Punch#119849
  • Word Window Punch#119857
  • Chocolate Chip Classic Ink Pad#100908
  • With All My Heart stamp set#118623

This would be great for your desktop, or dresser, I probably wouldn't throw it in my purse. I think it would be great to make a fabric tissue holder with our new Candy Cane Christmas fabric #121715.
